of course its small. its not genetically bred to be a massive cornish hen. that took decades if not a century to get it to such a size with various breeds. it also hunts for its food while also dodging prey, so its always active and running around.

When I was 5 years old my parents took me to a pay lake over by the Poconos and I caught an 8.5 lb rainbow trout on a kid's Zebco push button rod and reel. They said that it was the biggest trout that was in that lake and my dad had to pay like $40 to keep it because it hit so hard that the hook pierced it's gills and it was bleeding out. My parents and sisters ate it that day. I don't like fish, still don't and I'm 41 now.

I hate to see you missing out on delicious fish eggs. Just put salt turmeric chilli powder cumin powder green chillies and ginger garlic paste in it and mix well, then shallow fry them. This is just one of the recipes. Will feel good if you tried them next time. : )
